Tobacco Cessation Information
Connect4Health Wellness Program offers free tobacco cessation class opportunities to all employees.
For those that would like to complete a course in order to avoid the monthly tobacco surcharge for Plan Year 2024, can do so in 1 of 2 ways:

The City of Plano offers onsite Tobacco Cessation courses facilitated by Michelle Gifford.
The courses will be hosted at various City of Plano locations. Michelle will also work with Department Managers in developing a schedule that is most conducive to employee work hours. This course is 4 sessions at 1 hour each and can be completed in a number of different ways.

Session A: August 8, 15, 22 and 29

Virtual Option (schedule will vary)
The City of Plano has partnered up with Quit for Life, a telephonic Tobacco Cessation program. If you decide to join this program, your quit coach will help you create an easy-to-follow quit plan that will show you how to get ready, take action and live the rest of your life tobacco-free. Your quit plan will include:
- A quit coach
- Quitting Aids
- Quit Guide
- Web Coach
- Text2Quit
You must complete 4 our of 5 coaching sessions.
