Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the ability to manage your own emotions and understand the emotions of people around you. This class will explore the benefit of EI for leaders charged with making decisions that have far-reaching operational and interpersonal consequences. After completing this course, participants will understand the importance of:

• Understanding how their own emotions impact their team members.
• Managing their own impulses in order to respond appropriately to others
• Seeking to understand their paradigm and how it affects decision making.
