Virtual event. Facilitated by City of Plano SMEs. This course is for designated members of the 2021 Leading the Plano Way cohort. This module will explore the components of a well-planned onboarding program and a performance management cycle. At the conclusion of this module, participants will be able to develop an effective onboarding plan for a new hire, provide timely and effective performance feedback, and develop an action plan to address performance deficiencies. Additionally, participants will understand that that the performance management process is an opportunity to build successful working relationships with their employees. Participants will have the opportunity to practice skills learned in a simulated coaching discussion.
