Share Your Green Thumb with the Community Garden

If you’ve got extra time on your hands and a green thumb, lend them to the Plano Community Garden. Helpers of all experience levels are needed to work in this garden, as long as you’re at least 13 years old.

In 2007, this began with a partnership between Junior League of Collin County, our Sustainability and Environmental Education division, and volunteer gardeners. Today, the garden provides over 5,000 pounds of fresh organic produce annually to local food pantries serving Plano families.

You must complete an application to help. Then sign up to attend a new volunteer orientation meeting at the Environment Education Center:
