Dive in as Jack Carter Pool Reopens this Month

Jack Carter Pool lazy river

Splash! That’s the sound many Plano residents have been longing to hear again at Jack Carter Pool (JCP). The wait will soon be over as JCP reopens on Monday, June 29. Under the governor’s May 26 executive order, water parks throughout Texas can reopen.

Just in time for the July Fourth Holiday weekend, Jack Carter Pool will be open daily to the public through August 9. From Monday, August 10 through Monday, September 7 (Labor Day), the water park is ONLY open on weekends.

Plano Parks & Recreation was careful to consider all water park safety guidelines before deciding to resume operations at the outdoor pool. The number one priority is, of course, the health and safety of patrons and employees. The department is implementing special measures to ensure a visit to JCP is as safe as possible – and surely as much fun as ever!Jack Carter pool
