SERVE-ing Safely

Will office be safe to return to work

After working remotely for roughly three months, our state and city are continuing to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic. The process to thoughtfully transition some employees back to the workplace has begun. If you are instructed to return to work by your supervisor, you may have questions about the City’s Return to Work plan:

  • What’s being done to make the buildings safe?
  • Will wearing face masks be required?
  • How are offices and common areas cleaned and how often?

To help answer these and other questions, a video about what the City is doing, along with flyers in English and Spanish were created. Human Resources, Risk Management and the Communications and Community Outreach staff have developed a comprehensive webpage of important information at NOTE:  Flyers can be printed for those without access to a computer.

Watch this Return to Work video to see what’s been done to increase your safety at all City facilities:

Learn for yourself what the City is doing and get reminders about what each of us should do to better ensure everyone’s safety and health.

We are living in uncertain times, but one thing that has not changed is Plano’s commitment to striving for service excellence in all we do. This is achieved because our organization continually works to protect its most valuable resource, YOU.

We are in this together. You are not alone. We are Team Plano.
