Donate to the 2020 Peanut Butter Drive by September 30

Peanut butter drive with Mayor

With food insecurity reaching record levels, it’s more important than ever to join the 2020 Virtual Collin County Peanut Butter Drive. COVID-19 safety concerns forced this annual jar-raising campaign to take virtual donations.

With over 38,000 food insecure children in the County, the need is great – and participation is easy. Simply set up your own fundraiser on the Peanut Butter Drive platform at Make it fun – invite your friends to join your team or host a fundraising event.

How to participate in four easy steps:

  • Donate online; $1 equals one pound of peanut butter (16 oz. jar).
  • Set up your own fundraiser or “team” on the Peanut Butter Drive campaign platform.
  • To donate physical peanut butter, deliver jars to the NTFB Plano campus at 3677 Mapleshade Lane.
  • Order physical peanut butter from a grocer’s website and set the delivery option to the NTFB Plano campus.

It’s Hunger Action Month (September 1-30) and your help is needed to reach this year’s goal of raising over 220,000 pounds of peanut butter. The Drive collected 190,251 pounds in 2019…a record!

Let’s all chip in and work to “Spread the Hope” which benefits the North Texas Food Bank. If you have questions, please contact
