Have you considered furthering your education? You’re in luck, because the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) reimburses you up to $3,000 per fiscal year for completing courses in your degree plan. The application process is now open.

Read City of Plano Policy 208.000 to see if you and your degree plan meet eligibility requirements. Money from this program can only be used for associate, bachelor, master or doctorate-level classes offered through accredited colleges and universities. Funds cannot be used to pay for job-related seminars, workshops, certifications or other short-term courses.
To qualify for this education assistance, applicants must show the degree plan meets one or more of these criteria:
If you apply for TAP funds now, they must be used for qualifying courses completed between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022. Employees can receive up to $3,000 annually, as long as the approved degree plan is from a U.S. regionally-accredited college or university.
