Attend the City of Plano Virtual Education Fair if you are thinking about going back to school to complete your degree. On Tuesday, April 20, this live 2-hour session is your virtual portal to connect with representatives from 17 colleges and universities.
The Fair will work much the same way as an in-person fair would – only it’s virtual. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., you’ll have access to school reps by simply clicking on any of the colored circles on the electronic Virtual Education Fair flyer. See the linked flyer here.
Each button on the flyer provides a Zoom or WebEx link to the corresponding college or university’s chat room. If you still have questions or would like to be contacted by the school after speaking with their representative, have your contact information ready to paste in the chat box as a private chat.
Human Resources (HR) also has a button on the flyer – the black one. Use it to connect with Training team members who’ll answer your questions about tuition assistance (i.e. “Will my degree plan qualify for tuition assistance?”) Check out the Tuition Assistance webpage to familiarize yourself with the City Policy 208 and the application process.
This is the ideal time to have a one-on-one chat about your continuing education goals. Chime in from your laptop or mobile device. We hope to see you there!
