Change Your 2021 – Start Fresh with a Focus on Fitness!

Getting rid of those pandemic pounds or even participating in a race are not farfetched notions. Have you ever wondered if you could run a 5K? Are you ready to get back in shape? The You Can Run a 5K Training Program may be the solution you’ve been looking for!

This 8-week program is designed to take you from 0 miles to finishing a 5K (3.1 miles) using the interval training method. The workout sessions safely add distance to the routine ensuring everyone remains healthy while having a great time training!

If you’re ready to commit to your health, here are the details you need to know:

When:  Every Saturday morning, April 3 - May 22

Where: Oak Point Nature and Retreat Center, 5901 Los Rios Boulevard

How:    Sign up at:

Cost:    $45**

**The City of Plano will reimburse 50% of the cost to any employee who attends at least 6 of the 8 training sessions (Attending all 8 meeting is the goal, but life happens!)
