Believe it or not, we are near the end of May and this time last year definitely looked a lot different. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. However, care of our mental health should never be confined to just one month a year.
Together, we have learned needing help is not a sign of weakness. Throughout the past year, we also learned its okay not to be okay…and learned it’s okay to ask for help. Seeking help when needed demonstrates strength.
The thing to remember is that YOU are not in this alone. You have shown this in so many ways to each other by sending I SEE U SERVE cards (1,176 e-Cards sent so far), checking in on someone to see how they are doing and by offering to ease their load.
Just because we are moving toward being together again after such a long time, it does not change the fact that we do not or will not possibly need help from time to time.
