Hook Potential Hackers with Your Outlook Phishing Button

Cybercrime is serious! You’ve taken the City’s mandatory cyber security course and are on the lookout for phishing experts. Criminals are good at tricking people into clicking on fraudulent links or opening malicious attachments in emails. 

The KnowBe4 “Report this Email” button in Outlook is how you should report “Phish Alerts.” This button assists you in reporting emails that are suspicious or phishy in nature directly to our Technology Services security team. Please do not forward it to other personnel or work addresses if you think it is suspicious

The orange fish hook over an open envelope in the upper ribbon of Outlook is an alternate to reporting suspicious email and allows you to report items from any mailbox you have access to instead of just your personal inbox.  The following short guide shows how these features work -
