There are inspiring observances planned in Plano this year to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Join these countywide events online:

2022 MLK Power Leadership Breakfast 
Saturday, January 15
Live stream at 9 a.m.
It’s a virtual tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. King hosted by the Collin College Board of Trustees and District President Dr. Neil Matkin. For more info, contact Millie D. Black or Albert Tezeno, co-chairs of the MLK Power Leadership Breakfast Planning Committee.

Plano Community Forum’s “It’s Time to Dream” 
Monday, January 17

The 2022 observance features a message from Dale Long, survivor of the 16th Street Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama along with a performance by Vincent Hardy’s Zion Dance Project.

The theme for this year’s events is “It’s Time to Dream (Dreaming, Reaching, Educating, Aspiring, Motivating).” Don’t miss these events.
