Learn Where You Should be during a Disaster

EOC meeting room

The Department of Emergency Management is pleased to share with you its updated Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP).  The plan details what roles, responsibilities and actions are to be taken during specific disasters and threats.

The CEMP is updated and approved every five years in accordance with the Texas Division of Emergency Management.  Please review specific Emergency Support Functions to identify your department’s role during an emergency operations center (EOC) activation.  Should you have any questions, feel free to email Emergency Management at DEM@plano.gov.

Access the updated CEMP manual on SharePoint here.

Check the Emergency Management section of our employee Policies and Procedures Manual (600.100) to see the training compliance chart.
