It’s no fun experiencing computer, laptop or network issues – especially if you’re working after 5 pm. Technology Solutions (TS) staff have expanded services to include “after-hours help!” When tech support is needed between 5 pm and 8 am, there are two options for getting help:
Immediate Assistance (TS On Call): If you have a problem that prevents you from working and requires urgent attention, contact TS On Call at 972-941-5870. This number is available 5 pm – 8 am to assist with critical matters that cannot wait until the start of the next business day.
Non-Urgent Support (ServiceNow): For issues not requiring immediate attention, but still needing resolution, submit a ticket via our ServiceNow ticketing system. ServiceNow reports and tracks technology issues, keeping you informed during the process until the report is resolved.
Technology Solutions is actively working to enhance this process. The planned improvements are part of ongoing efforts to provide better support and streamline communications within our organization. We expect these enhancements to be implemented following the completion of the City phone system replacement project in late 2024.
